kites

they did not teach you how to fly
in dry red was the discovery made
on hard backs of high horses
pretending their way
yet
tulips still grew under your belt
and spring always came
in same shoes
running
with a bit of a surprise
this time
asking
to take her for a drive
where all the colourful lonely kites wait
their turn
to love you from above
no need to fly …

About elizadavies

Being a human is an awesome thing. Being able to name the awesomness of it all - sends my mind veering dangerously and beautifully ... Naming the Invisible is my life long challenge ... words which live, describe life and eventually impart life ...

  1. Hello Eliza!
All your work is Fractual and I love it! Blessings 🙂

Thank you Liza! I wonder what fractual means – could not find it in my dictionaries … 🙂

      • Fractual is God’s signature…snowflakes are a great example. Repeated patterns often very complex but of beauty. Not one the exact same…yet all part of the creative whole. Random, unique chaos to the human mind…but totally ordered and specific in detail. We, as humans, are fractual. Love the way it is described in the book The Shack…if you haven’t read it…get it…you will not regret!
        🙂
